Wings Trade Leino To Flyers

The Detroit Red Wings have sent forward Ville Leino to the Philadelphia Flyers for Ole-Kristian Tollefsen and a fifth-round pick in 2011.

Leino has struggled to meet his sleeper expectation coming into this season, as he has just 7 points (4g-3a) and a (-10) in 42 games this season. The Leino trade paves the way for a return from injury for Johan Franzen, who is expected to be back early next week. Add Franzen right away if he happens to be on your waiver wire.
