Toskala Sounds Off On Leafs

According to the Toronto Star, Vesa Toskala took a parting shot at his former team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. When asked about when he would change his mask, Toskala said, “Hopefully soon, so I can wash that blue and white out of my gear.”

Analysis:

Toskala’s stay in Toronto was very rough (7-12-3, 3.66 GAA, .874 SV% this season). He may have an easier time in South California now that he is out of the spotlight in Toronto, but don’t expect him to play much for the Ducks.
