Devante Smith-Pelly is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks with a broken foot after blocking a shot at the World Junior Championship.

Analysis:

Smith’s injury is likely more relevant in World Junior pools than it would be in NHL fantasy leagues. Still, his injury will be a big loss for Canada as it attempts to recapture the gold medal on home soil.
