In previous seasons, the player selected first overall was an obvious choice. However, the decision of the top-ranked player in fantasy hockey is much more wide-open than it has been in a while.

Thanks to two trades with the San Jose Sharks, the Wild now sport an almost completely different and better first line than what they used last season. But will that be enough to make them a better team, and perhaps even a playoff team?
