We have another busy Saturday coming up, with 22 of 30 teams in action. Included in this day’s Pick Six are some intriguing names that have made news one way or another recently.

Thursday is a lukewarm busy day, with nine games on the schedule. However, some intriguing matchups are on the menu, including a meeting of the top two draft picks last season.

Tuesday is a semi-busy day in the NHL, with nine games on tap. However, there’s easily enough material for me to complete another Pick Six. Here we go…

A total of 22 teams out of 30 are in action on a typical busy Saturday. So let’s not waste any time with the Pick Six, which includes the usual batch of hot and cold players.

For the benefit of those who make Thursday roster decisions on Thursday a few minutes before game time, here is the Pick Six for Thursday November 3.

In this edition of the Pick Six, I’ll focus on some hot and cold players, but I will start with two upper-level goaltenders with big contracts currently struggling with playing in high-pressure markets (aka goalie graveyards).

Here is the latest Pick Six, a goaltending-rich version that covers games for both Wednesday and Thursday. And by mentioning goaltending, it’s important to remember not to read too much into the early-season struggles of certain goalies.

The season is only two and a half weeks old, yet in the words of Gary Bettman, we have a trade to announce. Like they have so many times before, the Canucks and Panthers hooked up for a four-player deal.

It’s yet another busy Saturday, with all but two teams in action. Be sure that you set your lineup quickly, as the day features two afternoon starts.

With 11 games on tap, Thursday promises to be a busy night with lots of important roster decisions.
