Marc-Andre Bergeron recorded two assists with a +3 in the Wild’s 4-2 win over Tampa Bay on Friday.
Bergeron has now recorded points in three consecutive games. Bergeron is up to a respectable 12 points (2g-10a) and +5 in 21 games, but keep in mind that he can be a power-play force one game and a healthy scratch a few games later. Bergeron’s poor defensive skills and nomadic existence around the NHL the past couple years don’t seem like a fit for Wild coach Jacques Lemaire’s cult-like defensive scheme, so don’t be surprised if Bergeron fails to see much icetime after you decide to add him.
